Job Summary
To support claims processing, the full-time remote Georgia Licensed Casualty Specialist will conduct investigations, analyze coverage and liability, and negotiate settlements for automobile liability claims.
Key responsibilities
- Plans and conducts investigations to determine liability and extent of damages
- Evaluates claims for potential fraud and collaborates with the Special Investigations Unit as needed
- Maintains accurate records and manages administrative tasks related to claims processing and payments
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency required; a 2-year degree or higher in a related field is preferred
- At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
- Minimum of 2 years of previous auto liability claim handling experience or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience preferred
- Must hold or be able to obtain an adjuster license within 60 days of employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
