Job Summary
To support the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) team, the full-time Georgia Licensed CDI Education Coordinator will conduct remote training, develop educational programs, and assist in onboarding new staff while collaborating with CDI Leadership to enhance documentation practices.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct remote training sessions for the CDI team and develop clinical documentation education programs
- Assist in onboarding and orienting new Clinical Documentation Specialists to the CDIS role
- Collaborate with CDI Leadership to maintain educational tools and ensure compliance with documentation standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 5 years of inpatient hospital experience, including 3 years as a Clinical Documentation Specialist
- Experience in adult education, CDI education, and healthcare provider education
- Current Georgia State Licensure as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- CCS, CDIP, or CCDS certification upon hire
