Job Summary
To oversee daily unit activities during night shifts, the full-time Georgia Licensed Charge Nurse will manage patient care assignments, coordinate staffing resources, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a clinical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Directs daily operations of the unit, ensuring safe and effective patient care delivery
- Rounds on patients to evaluate care quality and implements corrective actions as needed
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective communication and teamwork
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; 2 years of relief charge experience preferred
- National certification in a specialty area preferred upon hire
