Job Summary

Georgia Licensed Claims Attorney is a full-time position responsible for evaluating and managing claims, conducting investigations, and negotiating settlements, specializing in Miscellaneous Medical Professional Liability and Social Services Professional Liability policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the litigation process for claims to minimize company risk of loss
• Analyze coverage issues, conduct investigations, and evaluate moderately complex claims
• Prepare and draft legal correspondence and maintain claim files

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree or equivalent education/experience preferred
• Licensure to practice law in applicable state jurisdiction(s) preferred
• 2 years of relevant legal and/or professional experience in insurance claims
• Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to insurance claims
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
