Job Summary
To enhance clinical documentation accuracy, the full-time Georgia Licensed Clinical Documentation Educator will perform audits, provide training and education to CDI staff, and support documentation improvement initiatives in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and provide feedback to improve clinical documentation accuracy
- Manage educational programs for new and existing staff, including onboarding and ongoing training
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor documentation quality against core measure indicators
Required qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia
- Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Five to ten years of clinical nursing experience, with three to five years in clinical documentation
- Comprehensive knowledge in acute med-surg, critical care, and cardiology nursing
