Job Summary

To enhance clinical documentation accuracy, the full-time Georgia Licensed Clinical Documentation Educator will perform audits, provide training and education to CDI staff, and support documentation improvement initiatives in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits and provide feedback to improve clinical documentation accuracy
  • Manage educational programs for new and existing staff, including onboarding and ongoing training
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor documentation quality against core measure indicators
Required qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia
  • Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Five to ten years of clinical nursing experience, with three to five years in clinical documentation
  • Comprehensive knowledge in acute med-surg, critical care, and cardiology nursing
