Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Practice Coding Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Code procedures and enter charges to comply with regulations and policies
• Coordinate with Practice Coordinator and Revenue Integrity to ensure documentation supports procedure codes
• Participate in audits to evaluate code accuracy and develop methodologies for improvement

Required Qualifications

• Must have a coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, RN)
• Minimum of 3 years of specialty and/or surgical coding experience
• Familiarity with data processing applications in a Windows environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures
• Understanding of medical insurance practices
