Georgia Licensed Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising the coding function, the full-time Georgia Licensed Coding Supervisor will oversee staff, manage auditing and quality control initiatives, and ensure compliance with policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the coding function and corresponding staff
• Oversee the reimbursement process and manage auditing and quality control initiatives
• Develop policies and procedures to facilitate timely and accurate reimbursement

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• 3 years of Physician Coding/HIM experience required
• Specialty Coding experience preferred
• Experience in coding across multiple practices and remote coding experience preferred
• Licensure such as RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CPC, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P is required
