Georgia Licensed Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Team Lead, Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with clients and internal revenue cycle teams to assist with requests and inquiries
• Review production coders' work for quality and provide feedback
• Participate in production coding and support coding leadership in client management and escalations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school graduate or GED certification
• Coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, COC, RHIT, CCS)
• Successful completion of formal education in ICD-9-CM/ICD-10/CPT coding, medical terminology, and anatomy/physiology
• 5 years of outpatient surgical coding experience and 1 year of team lead experience
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care coding experience across all patient types
