Job Summary
To provide clinical oversight and support to advanced practice providers, the part-time Collaborating Physician will ensure high-quality patient care through chart reviews, clinical guidance, and compliance with state regulations in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the designated collaborating or supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
- Review patient charts and clinical documentation to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Participate in meetings or case reviews with NPs/PAs to discuss clinical performance and care standards
Required qualifications
- Current, active license in the state of Georgia (MD/DO)
- Active practice in the state
- 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency
- Primary specialty in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
