Georgia Licensed Collaborating Physician

Job Summary

To support a nurse practitioner team providing general oncology triage and palliative care services, a Georgia Licensed Collaborating Physician will work part-time in a remote capacity, offering supervision, chart co-signature, and clinical consultation without direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as collaborating physician of record under a written nurse protocol agreement filed with the Georgia Medical Board for each supervised NP
• Co-sign NP clinical notes and charts per the schedule defined in the protocol agreement
• Participate in regular collaboration meetings with NPs to review cases, patterns of care, and quality concerns

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license (MD or DO)
• Principal practice location physically based in Georgia
• Prior experience with NP/APRN collaborative or supervisory relationships preferred
• Comfortable with remote/asynchronous consultation model
