Job Summary

To provide clinical oversight and support for Advanced Practice Providers, the part-time Georgia Licensed Collaborating Physician will manage protocol delegation and quality monitoring for home-based palliative care across Georgia, working remotely on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the delegating or supervising physician for up to eight nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring compliance with Georgia regulations
  • Review and sign all patient records involving controlled substances and adverse outcomes, conducting quality monitoring meetings with APRNs quarterly
  • Support symptom management and advance care planning while maintaining compliance with state laws and Vynca's care model
Required qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license (MD or DO) in good standing
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty, preferably palliative, hospice, family, or internal medicine
  • Demonstrated experience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers in home-based or serious illness care
  • Active DEA registration
  • Familiarity with Georgia nurse protocol and physician assistant supervision requirements
