Job Summary
To support emergency departments and inpatient teams, the full-time Remote Nocturnist Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist will provide high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations, working overnight shifts from the comfort of home.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and consultations for patients in emergency and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including supervising nurse practitioners
- Manage a full-time nocturnist schedule, including 13-16 overnight shifts per month with rotating weekend coverage
Required qualifications:
- Active medical license; IMLC Letter of Qualification is a plus
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program
- Board Certification in Psychiatry required
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency Consult-Liaison Psychiatry experience via telehealth
- Experience evaluating patients ages 5+ in Emergency Department settings
