Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Georgia Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with callers in distress, conduct risk assessments, and deliver crisis intervention services while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including levels of risk and urgent safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Ability to maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant home workspace
- Availability for remote scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of a six-week paid virtual training program
