Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Georgia Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conduct risk assessments, and deliver crisis intervention services while working remotely from Georgia.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and urgent safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively while navigating multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Georgia residency is required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space with a locking door
- Access to hard-wired broadband or fiber internet with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps
