Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Georgia Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions while working remotely from Georgia.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral distress
- Assess emotional health concerns and provide appropriate resources, coping strategies, and safety planning
- Maintain accurate documentation while effectively multitasking across multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Georgia residency is required for remote work
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in a distraction-free home office environment
- Availability for regular weekend and holiday shifts post-training
