Job Summary

Supporting patients through the scheduling and financial process, the remote contract-to-hire Georgia Licensed Financial Advocate will coordinate procedures, verify insurance information, and communicate patient financial responsibilities while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule complex procedures and related resources
• Pre-register patients and verify demographic, insurance, and referral information
• Manage referral queues and ensure accurate documentation within electronic health record systems

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of healthcare customer service experience preferred
• Experience with patient scheduling, referrals, or insurance verification
• Familiarity with Epic or a similar electronic health record system preferred
• Proficiency with computers and standard office technology
