Job Summary

To support a dynamic learning environment, the part-time Georgia Licensed Graduate Nursing Faculty will instruct graduate nursing courses, facilitate student engagement, and manage academic responsibilities in a virtual setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Designs and delivers instructional plans that align with course competencies and promotes student success
• Manages the learning environment by maintaining accurate records, submitting grades, and enforcing academic policies
• Participates in curriculum development and local campus events to enhance the academic programs' stature

Required qualifications:

• DNP or PhD in Nursing with FNP certification required
• One to five years of experience in instruction or formalized education, preferably in a post-secondary institution
• Experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is strongly preferred
• Membership in a professional association related to nursing instruction preferred
• Willingness to work in an accelerated online learning format and hold required office hours
