Job Summary

To enhance client benefits strategies, the full-time Georgia Licensed Health Benefits Director will manage the carrier/vendor bid, procurement, and negotiation processes for medium to large clients while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire carrier/vendor bid and negotiation process, partnering with senior colleagues on complex client needs
• Guide teams on client deliverables and cultivate strong external relationships to improve market positioning
• Identify operational efficiencies and provide mentorship to junior colleagues in the placement process

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in benefit consulting, brokerage, or health care vendor/carrier
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of fully insured and self-funded arrangements, including stop loss contracts
• Strong client service orientation with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Active State Life and Health license required
• Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or finance/math preferred; progress toward CEBS designation is a plus
