Job Summary

Georgia Licensed Health Information Director, oversees the strategic direction of health information management operations in a full-time role, focusing on policy development, compliance, and operational efficiency across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and implements HIM best practices and operational strategies across all facilities
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while managing vendor relationships
• Leads technology assessments and optimizations to enhance operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field; Master's preferred
• RHIA or RHIT certification required upon hire
• Minimum 10 years of experience in health information operations management
• At least 5 years of direct supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience with electronic health record implementation is required
