Georgia Licensed IT Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support IT project initiation and procurement activities, the contract IT Enterprise Business Analyst will work onsite one day per week in Atlanta, GA, while collaborating remotely the rest of the time, focusing on analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in demand management to develop business cases, define project scope, and document requirements for new systems or enhancements
• Support IT procurement activities by developing Statements of Work (SOW) and collaborating with vendors and stakeholders
• Engage in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities to ensure requirements are transitioned effectively to development teams

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting IT projects and system implementations
• Strong understanding of business/data process analysis methodologies and SDLC processes
• Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
• Proficient in gathering, documenting, and managing complex business and functional requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science or Information Technology Systems
