Job Summary
A company is looking for a Litigation Attorney to manage third-party subpoenas related to personal injury litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate high-volume third-party subpoenas for patient diagnostic imaging records
- Draft and file objections to legally defective subpoenas and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Supervise a paralegal and manage subpoena response workflows while advising internal teams on legal implications
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in Georgia; admission in additional states is a plus
- Substantial litigation experience with a focus on personal injury matters
- Strong knowledge of Georgia civil procedure rules and federal rules governing third-party discovery
- Familiarity with HIPAA and health information privacy regulations as applied to litigation
