Job Summary

A company is looking for a Litigation Attorney to manage third-party subpoenas related to personal injury litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate high-volume third-party subpoenas for patient diagnostic imaging records
• Draft and file objections to legally defective subpoenas and ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Supervise a paralegal and manage subpoena response workflows while advising internal teams on legal implications

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar license in Georgia; admission in additional states is a plus
• Substantial litigation experience with a focus on personal injury matters
• Strong knowledge of Georgia civil procedure rules and federal rules governing third-party discovery
• Familiarity with HIPAA and health information privacy regulations as applied to litigation
