Job Summary
Supporting dynamic media and production businesses, the full-time remote Senior Counsel, Media Transactions will provide strategic legal guidance on commercial transactions, content licensing, and operational issues while collaborating closely with business leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a generalist media/entertainment attorney for distribution, programming, production, and licensing matters
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on various media-related commercial agreements
- Oversee litigation and disputes, managing outside counsel and strategy
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in good standing, preferably in OH, NY, or GA
- Generally, 10+ years of experience in a media or television environment
- Significant experience in drafting and negotiating media/entertainment-focused agreements
