Job Summary
Seeking a Georgia Licensed Medical Epidemiologist, the full-time hybrid position will provide epidemiological and human-subjects research review to support global HIV and TB scientific activities, ensuring methodological rigor and regulatory compliance for the PEPFAR research portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Review project plans, protocols, manuscripts, and abstracts for methodological validity and compliance with human subjects' requirements
- Evaluate human subjects research issues and ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory standards
- Prepare monthly status reports and final summary reports on scientific clearances and project progress
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in epidemiological review and support duties
- Demonstrated expertise in public health/epidemiology related to HIV and tuberculosis
- Experience in protocol and manuscript development and scientific reviews
- Strong writing, editing, and reviewing skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) investigation
