Job Summary
Providing analytical and process support for the Cerner LIS and HealthConnect/Epic Operations team, the full-time Senior Analyst, Laboratory Information Systems will evaluate user requirements, manage system enhancements, and ensure proper configuration of the Cerner system while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Test the Cerner system for configurations, customizations, and new releases prior to implementation
- Identify and manage application errors and system enhancement requests, ensuring lab orderables are configured correctly
- Communicate system changes to end users and assist in training staff on the Cerner system
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or four (4) years of LIS support experience
- Minimum two (2) years of system-related support experience
- Minimum three (3) years of healthcare experience
- Medical Lab Scientist Certificate or equivalent certification
- High School Diploma or GED required
