Job Summary
Providing analytical and process support, the full-time Senior Analyst, Laboratory Information Systems will evaluate user requirements, manage system configurations, and assist in enhancing the Cerner LIS while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Test the Cerner system for configurations, customizations, and new releases prior to implementation
- Identify and manage application errors and system enhancement requests, ensuring proper lab orderable configurations
- Communicate system changes to end users and train staff while serving as a liaison with Epic business partners
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or four (4) years of LIS support experience, or four (4) years in a related field
- Minimum two (2) years of system-related support experience
- Minimum three (3) years of healthcare experience
- Medical Lab Scientist Certificate or equivalent certification required
- High School Diploma or GED required
