Job Summary
Providing analytical and process support, the full-time Senior Analyst, Laboratory Information Systems will manage the Cerner LIS and HealthConnect/Epic Operations team, ensuring proper configuration and utilization of the Cerner system while collaborating with various departments and addressing system concerns.
Key responsibilities
- Test and validate the Cerner system configurations, customizations, and new releases prior to implementation
- Identify and manage application errors and system enhancement requests while ensuring proper lab order configurations
- Communicate system changes to end users and assist with training staff on the Cerner system
Required qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of system-related support experience
- Minimum three (3) years of healthcare experience
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or four (4) years of LIS support experience
- Medical Lab Scientist Certificate or equivalent certification required
- High School Diploma or GED required
