Job Summary
Providing analytical and process support, the full-time Senior Analyst, Laboratory Information Systems, will evaluate user requirements and enhance the Cerner LIS system while collaborating with various departments and managing system concerns remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Test and validate configurations, customizations, and new releases of the Cerner system prior to implementation
- Identify and manage application errors and system enhancement requests, ensuring proper configuration of lab orderables
- Communicate system changes to end users and assist in training staff on the Cerner system
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or minimum four (4) years of LIS support experience, or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field
- Minimum two (2) years of system-related support experience
- Minimum three (3) years of healthcare experience
- Medical Lab Scientist Certificate or equivalent certification
- High School Diploma or GED required
