Job Summary
Seeking a Georgia Licensed Mental Health Therapist, the part-time contractor will provide teletherapy and mental health assessments to students in partner school districts, collaborating with school staff and families to enhance student engagement and support.
Key responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessments and skills-based teletherapy to students, typically lasting 2-4 months per student
- Collaborate with school counselors and other providers throughout a student's care journey via regular communication
- Build relationships with school staff and families to support mental health needs and engagement with services
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Active Georgia license for independent mental health care (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PhD/PsyD)
- Experience with therapy modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing
- Experience delivering care via telehealth
- Strong technological skills with tools like Zoom and electronic health record systems
