Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Government Underwriter III who will be responsible for underwriting residential mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite various loan types for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
• Review borrower profiles and analyze complex income and collateral documentation
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding file status and assist with complex loan files

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of recent government underwriting experience
• Active DE, SAR, or LAPP government designation
• Experience with Encompass and various loan products
• Strong analytical skills for complex financial assessments
• Deep knowledge of secondary market guidelines and government regulations
