Job Summary
As a contract Georgia Licensed Nurse Practitioner, the remote position will focus on providing essential clinical care to children and adolescents through comprehensive mental health medication management, including conducting psychiatric evaluations and prescribing medications.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via 60-minute intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and construct patient-centered treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based treatment and document recommendations while managing psychiatric medications
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or an accredited PA program with certification
- Unrestricted state license in Georgia
- A minimum of 2 years in practice
- Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs with an active DEA license
- Preference for additional certification or clinical experience with minors
