Job Summary
Providing nutrition services remotely, the part-time hourly Georgia Licensed Nutritionist will conduct nutrition screenings, assessments, and education for clients in the WIC Program, working up to 29 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Complete nutrition screenings and assessments for a minimum of 2 clients per hour
- Provide nutrition education to clients enrolled in the WIC Program
- Collaborate with a team of public health professionals to support community health initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- Verification statement of completion of a didactic program accredited by The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
- At least one year of experience in the WIC Program is preferred
- Reliable internet service is required for remote work
- Master's degree in public health education or a related field may be considered for health educator candidates
