Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the full-time salaried Georgia Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician will provide longitudinal care for patients with obesity, collaborate with a care team, and participate in after-hours call schedules remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care focused on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management
- Participate in treatment planning and medical management for complex cases, ensuring quality and continuity of care
- Assist in the professional development of advanced practice professionals and contribute to team-based care initiatives
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree with board certification; must be an American Board of Obesity Medicine diplomate or board certified in Endocrinology
- Licensed to practice and prescribe in Georgia; Letter of Qualification with the IMLC preferred
- Prior experience conducting telemedicine visits and collaborating with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
- Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
