Job Summary
Performing cancer registry duties, the full-time Georgia Licensed Oncology Data Specialist will complete abstracts for benign and malignant processes for the cancer database, ensuring compliance with established standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Complete cancer registry abstracts for benign and malignant processes
- Ensure compliance with standards set by the Commission on Cancer and Georgia Cancer Registry
- Collaborate with the Piedmont Cancer Committee on data management and reporting
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree with college-level courses in medical terminology and anatomy & physiology preferred
- Previous registry or oncology-related experience strongly preferred
- ODS certification required upon hire
