Job Summary
Offering a flexible opportunity for Georgia Licensed Optometrists, the full-time or part-time Independent Contractor will conduct comprehensive eye exams remotely using patented technology, providing patients with convenient access to eye care.
Key responsibilities
- Examine patients remotely in compliance with state licensing requirements
- Utilize specialized video conferencing technology to communicate effectively with patients
- Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses with the support of an Ophthalmic Technician
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
- Current Georgia state optometry license
- Experience with telemedicine or remote patient care is preferred
- Ability to obtain necessary credentialing and training as required
- Multiple state licenses are a plus
