Georgia Licensed Orthopedic Reviewer

Job Summary

Utilizing orthopedic expertise, the fully remote Georgia Licensed Orthopedic Reviewer will conduct medical record reviews, provide evidence-based clinical opinions, and prepare concise summaries while enjoying flexible scheduling as an independent contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and supporting documentation to assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care
• Conduct evidence-based clinical assessments and prepare comprehensive written reports
• Participate in peer-to-peer discussions and answer client-specific questions regarding orthopedic conditions

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Current, unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active clinical practice or recent experience in the field
