Job Summary
To support legal operations, the full-time temporary Georgia Licensed Paralegal will assist attorneys with discovery preparation, trial case preparation, and legal research while primarily working remotely from the Alpharetta, GA area.
Key responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with the preparation of discovery responses and trial case preparations
- Communicate with clients and various stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and information
- Conduct legal research and maintain organized legal files for case management
Required qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
- Minimum typing speed of 28 wpm with 95% accuracy
- Familiarity with general office equipment and legal research software
- Prior experience with word processing software, preferably Word and Excel
- Ability to work mostly remote while residing in the Alpharetta area
