Job Summary
Overseeing all aspects of payroll operations and tax compliance, the full-time Georgia Licensed Payroll Manager will manage payroll data, ensure timely processing, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data validation and resolution of discrepancies
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of payroll tax returns and maintain compliance with applicable regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and facilitate annual audits with accurate payroll data
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Payroll Tax, or a related field
- A minimum of six years of experience managing full-cycle payroll processing and tax compliance
- Recent experience with Workday Payroll, including proficiency in processing payroll and managing payroll-related data
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial records effectively
