Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the Utilization Review Committee and present findings with recommendations for improvement
• Support physician education and collaboration on regulatory requirements and appropriate utilization of hospital services
• Assist with length of stay management and engage in denials management processes

Required Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia
• Medical Degree with Board certification
• Five to seven years of physician practice experience, with a preference for ten or more years
• Knowledge of Utilization Management and Quality Improvement
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of EMR
