Job Summary
To support the underwriting process, the full-time Georgia Licensed Property Underwriter will evaluate and maintain policy information for renewals, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluates and maintains existing policy information to ensure accuracy and appropriate pricing for renewals
- Communicates with clients to gather necessary information and resolve inquiries related to insurance products
- Conducts risk assessments and supports premium calculations, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting
- Must meet minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is a plus
