Job Summary
Providing high-quality psychiatric care remotely, the part-time or full-time Georgia Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a clinician-led team to support children, teens, and young adults in their mental health journey.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth to assess patients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe psychotropic medications while monitoring their effectiveness
- Collaborate with therapists and care coordinators to ensure coordinated, patient-centered treatment
Required qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
- Current, unrestricted PMHNP license in Georgia & DEA (multi-state or compact licensure preferred)
- Board certification as PMHNP-BC
- Experience with or passion for working with youth and families
- Comfort and competence in a telehealth environment
