Job Summary
Leading the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects, the full-time Sr. Renewables Development Leader will manage project development teams and oversee the lifecycle of complex energy storage projects in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead greenfield utility-scale renewable development projects and create de-risking strategies
- Oversee the progression of development assets from site origination through permitting and interconnection to project NTP
- Negotiate commercial agreements, including PPAs and interconnection agreements, for renewable projects
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy, including wind, solar PV, and energy storage
- Demonstrated team management and project management leadership experience
- Proven track record of developing tactical project development strategies and portfolio de-risking
- Experience with site lease agreements, permitting, interconnection agreements, and power purchase agreements
- Strong understanding of the RFP/RFI process related to renewable project development
