Job Summary

To support a prominent M&A advisory firm, a Georgia Licensed Senior M&A Consultant will manage the preparation of a lower-middle-market target company for an upcoming transaction, focusing on converting QuickBooks records into GAAP-compliant financial schedules and providing ongoing buyer due diligence support in a remote contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile and clean up QuickBooks financial files to create structured, GAAP-aligned financial statements
• Manage and refine the master financial model, including Proof of Cash and Net Working Capital analyses
• Collaborate with the M&A Director to address financial diligence queries from prospective buyers

Required qualifications

• Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in good standing
• 5+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, Quality of Earnings preparation, or public accounting audit
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and the ability to navigate complex financial records
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reconciliation tasks
• Availability for full-time hours initially, transitioning to flexible part-time availability through year-end
