Job Summary
Supporting a dynamic media environment, the full-time Georgia Licensed Senior Media Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance on commercial transactions, content licensing, and operational issues while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on various media-related commercial agreements
- Oversee litigation and disputes, managing outside counsel strategy and communications
- Provide practical legal advice on negotiation strategy, risk mitigation, and compliance obligations
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in good standing, preferably in OH, NY, or GA
- 10+ years of experience in a media and/or television environment with content across various platforms
- Significant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating media/entertainment-focused agreements
