Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Stop Loss Underwriter to manage and underwrite employer stop loss business.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite employer stop loss cases, setting rates and coverage terms according to agreements
• Design stop loss coverage and foster client relationships to build a profitable business block
• Service existing accounts by tracking loss ratios and developing renewal terms in compliance with standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8 years of underwriting/marketing experience in managed care organizations, primarily in employer stop loss
• 4 years of job-related experience or an Associate's degree with 2 years of job-related experience may be accepted
