Georgia Licensed Staff Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal practice, the full-time Georgia Licensed Staff Attorney will manage litigation cases involving auto and general liability, conducting legal research and preparing defense strategies while working remotely within the state of Georgia.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal issues and develop well-reasoned legal research
• Independently create and present defense strategies on behalf of clients
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs, and attend court appearances and trials autonomously

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school
• License to practice in the state of Georgia
• Minimum of 5-7 years of legal practice experience in insurance defense
• First chair jury trial experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
