Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time Georgia Licensed Supervising Physician will conduct approximately 20 telehealth visits daily, oversee care plans for homebound patients, and supervise a team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth visits with established homebound Medicare patients, targeting 4,000-5,000 visits annually
- Review and sign care plans for patients, ensuring proper oversight and compliance
- Supervise and collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants, providing clinical guidance and quality assurance
Required qualifications
- MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Georgia; willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Current DEA registration in good standing
- Eligible to enroll and bill as a Medicare practitioner
- Ability to work full-time and exclusively for the organization, committing to a one-year term
