Job Summary

To provide regulatory oversight for Advanced Practice Providers, the remote Georgia Licensed Supervising Physician will supervise care services across Virtual Urgent Care, Virtual Health Assessment, and Oscar Primary Care without direct patient care responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state regulations
• Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and other providers across service lines
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Required qualifications

• Board-certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
• Active state license in Georgia and IMLC
• 3+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency room, or outpatient family medicine practice
