Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the part-time Georgia Licensed Supervising Physician will provide regulatory supervision to Advanced Practice Providers across various service lines without direct patient care.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in compliance with state regulations
- Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and other providers across service lines
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to telemedicine practice
Required qualifications:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Active state medical license in Georgia
- 3+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency room, or outpatient family medicine practice
