Job Summary
To support a growing Title Operations team, the full-time Georgia Licensed Title Examiner will search and examine public records, review documents affecting property titles, and make insurability decisions while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Search and examine public records to determine a property's title status
- Review legal documents affecting property titles, such as mortgages and deeds
- Communicate effectively with customers, lenders, and underwriting staff regarding title matters
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the title insurance business
- Strong understanding of the general title process and related documentation
- Experience with County Government websites and title-related software (e.g., Titlepoint, Datatrace)
- Good research skills and familiarity with legal terms affecting real property
