Job Summary

To support a growing Title Operations team, the full-time Georgia Licensed Title Examiner will search and examine public records, review documents affecting property titles, and make insurability decisions while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
  • Search and examine public records to determine a property's title status
  • Review legal documents affecting property titles, such as mortgages and deeds
  • Communicate effectively with customers, lenders, and underwriting staff regarding title matters
Required qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the title insurance business
  • Strong understanding of the general title process and related documentation
  • Experience with County Government websites and title-related software (e.g., Titlepoint, Datatrace)
  • Good research skills and familiarity with legal terms affecting real property
