Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Geospatial Analyst II, this position will focus on analyzing elevation and hydrography data while collaborating with a team on Remote Sensing projects for state and federal clients, with the potential for remote work based on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Analyzing and reviewing elevation data, hydrographic networks, and derived products
- Creating and analyzing data products while ensuring adherence to quality control protocols
- Collaborating with the Product Line Lead to execute projects on time and within budget
Required qualifications
- Understanding of Lidar production workflow and geospatial data analysis
- Experience with the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) or similar hydrology data
- GISP Certification or ASPRS certifications in Lidar or Remote Sensing technologies preferred
- Working knowledge of Python and/or other programming languages
- Experience with national elevation programs such as NOAA's Coastal Mapping Program or USGS 3DEP
